Carraro India Opens First Authorised Service Centre In Faridabad

Carraro India, a subsidiary of the Italian group Carraro, has inaugurated its first authorised service centre in Faridabad, Haryana. This facility is the first of four centres the company plans to establish across India by 2026 to support its expansion in the off-highway vehicle market.

The centre is operated in partnership with Balaji Enterprises and will provide maintenance for driveline systems, including axles and transmissions used in agricultural and construction machinery.

The facility is equipped with diagnostic tools and a stock of genuine spare parts to ensure the repair of equipment. It aims to serve customers in Northern India, reducing downtime for fleet operators and farmers. Carraro India currently operates manufacturing plants in Pune and produces driveline solutions for several original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

The inauguration in Faridabad marks the start of a network growth strategy. Carraro intends to open three additional centres in locations with high concentrations of off-highway equipment. This initiative is designed to move after-sales support closer to the end-user, providing technical assistance and training for local mechanics.

ACDelco Makes India Return Via Licensing Agreement With Assurance Intl

Assurance Intl has announced the relaunch of ACDelco, the automotive aftermarket brand owned by General Motors (GM), in the Indian market. The move follows a licensing and strategic partnership between the two companies.

Under the agreement, Assurance Intl will serve as the official licensee for ACDelco in India, managing the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of specific products. The initial range consists of automotive batteries and lubricants for passenger and commercial vehicles.

To support the relaunch, Assurance Intl has established production capabilities at its facilities in Hisar, Haryana. The site includes a battery manufacturing plant and a blending facility for engine oils and automotive fluids.

The company stated that local production is intended to manage pricing while adhering to the quality standards set by General Motors. Products will be supplied through a network encompassing distributors, retailers and workshops across India.

The partnership aims to address local market requirements while following GM’s global aftermarket strategy. The companies also intend to investigate the development of battery technologies and lubricants aligned with vehicle trends and sustainability.

T80 12V Vertical Trumpet Horn: Available with or without a grill. The version with a grill is designed to be dust- and splash-resistant, while the version without focuses on far-reaching audibility in a compact form factor.

T90 24V Melody Trumpet Horn: A solution for commercial vehicles that replaces conventional pipe horns. It offers eight selectable tones to improve vehicle presence on highways and in high-traffic conditions.

T80 12V Universal Trumpet Horn: Constructed from ABS material, this model offers universal fitment for passenger and light commercial vehicles.

The horns are compatible with multiple vehicle platforms and feature plug-and-play installation. The range is available through offline retail outlets and online marketplaces, including Amazon and Flipkart. Prices range from an MRP of INR 800 to INR 3,400.

Steelbird Helmets has introduced its Numerology Series, a product line featuring graphics based on numbers 01 to 09. The series allows riders to select helmets corresponding to birth dates, milestones or personal preferences.

Ducati India Opens New Service-Only Facility In Ahmedabad

Italian superbike manufacturer Ducati has inaugurated a service-only facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, expanding its aftersales network in India. This follows the launch of a similar workshop in Goa.

The facility, located in Makarba, covers 2,800 sqft and is operated by FuelMoto Works. It is designed to provide maintenance and repairs for Ducati owners in the region. The workshop is equipped with two automated service bays and a customer lounge. It also includes a section for genuine Ducati apparel and merchandise.

The centre provides routine maintenance servicing & inspections, supply of spares and accidental repair services. It also provides customisation with genuine parts & accessories, along with technical support.

The establishment of this exclusive service setup in Ahmedabad targets the riding community in Gujarat. The strategic location in Makarba is intended to improve accessibility for owners across the state.
