Ultraviolette Expands European Presence With Launch of F77 Motorcycles In Paris

Bengaluru-based electric vehicle manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive has made a striking statement today with the European launch of its flagship performance motorcycles, the F77 Mach 2 and F77 SuperStreet, at a special event held in front of the Eiffel Tower. This move into the French market, following a successful debut in Germany, underscores Ultraviolette's ambitious drive to become a significant global player in the electric vehicle segment. With this the EV maker has established its presence in 10 European countries such as Germany, France, UK, Ireland, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The F77 Mach 2 boasts a race-bred design, promising a dynamic and aggressive ride, while the F77 SuperStreet offers a more upright posture and refined ergonomics, prioritizing rider comfort without sacrificing performance.

Both F77 models are capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 kmph in a mere 2.8 seconds. Powered by a 10.3 kWh battery pack, they deliver a peak power output of 30 kW and a staggering 100 Nm of torque, enabling swift acceleration and agile handling with a top speed of 155 km/h. These advanced motorcycles are equipped with Ultraviolette’s proprietary artificial intelligence system, Violette A.I., and industry-leading switchable Dual-Channel ABS developed by Bosch. Further enhancing the riding experience are features like 10 levels of Regenerative Braking, 4 levels of Traction Control and Dynamic Stability Control.

Terra Motors Expands in Punjab with Amritsar Launch

The new facility, established in partnership with local dealer AP Motor & Finance, provides a full sales and service experience, allowing customers to explore, test ride, and purchase Terra's latest models.
The brand's reputation for reliable performance and strong value, built over a decade in the three-wheeler sector, was evident in the overwhelming response to the inauguration. The dealer partnership was secured due to competitive margins, rising consumer demand for EV financing and Terra's proven track record as a top-selling e-rickshaw manufacturer in India. This entry into Amritsar represents a key milestone in Terra Motors' national growth strategy, following recent launches in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, as it aims for a tenfold expansion in the coming years.
The flagship Kyoro+ model is central to this expansion, promoted as a compelling choice for drivers seeking higher earnings. It boasts a segment-leading range of 200 km per charge, a robust build, a five-year warranty, and an attractive starting on-road price of INR 366,000, supported by a low down payment financing scheme.

Jitendra EV Tech Signs MoU With MET Institute

Jitendra New EV Tech Pvt Ltd (JNEVTPL), operating as Jitendra Electric Vehicles, has entered a strategic partnership with MET’s Institute of Engineering in Nashik. The Memorandum of Understanding was formally signed on 5 August 2025 at the institute by Dr V P Wani, the Principal, and Tejas Merchant from JNEVTPL's R&D department, with other key faculty and company officials in attendance.
This collaboration is specifically designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial application within the fast-growing electric vehicle industry. The core of the partnership involves a series of joint initiatives focused on research, new product development and industrial consultancy to address complex technical challenges. A significant aspect of the agreement includes expert consultancy from the institute’s engineering department to enhance productivity and implement advanced solutions for real-world problems.
Furthermore, MET’s IOE will provide direct technical support for the development of a range of electric vehicles, including scooters, rickshaws and motorcycles. Crucially, the alliance is committed to fostering the next generation of engineers by offering students hands-on industrial exposure through organised site visits, comprehensive internship programmes and live project opportunities. This practical experience is intended to give them invaluable insight into EV technologies and modern manufacturing processes, effectively preparing them for careers in this evolving field.

U Power Partners SAIC-Hongyan And UNEX EV To Electric Heavy Trucks With Battery Swap Tech In Thailand

U Power, an AI-powered solutions company, is expanding its proprietary UOTTA electric vehicle (EV) battery-swapping technology with a new strategic partnership with SAIC HONGYAN Automotive Co., Ltd (SAIC Hongyan) and UNEX EV, a new energy and technology company.
The partnership will see the deployment of battery-swapping compatible electric heavy trucks in Thailand and explore similar expansion opportunities in additional markets.
As per the understanding, the partners will deploy 3,000 electric heavy-duty tractors for long-haul transportation and 1,200 electric heavy-duty port-specific short-distance trucks in Thailand. In addition, all parties have agreed to explore the expansion of this partnership into additional markets, including the broader Southeast Asia, Latin America, Europe, Hong Kong and Macau.
U Power will lead the development and manufacture of compatible battery-swapping stations as well as provide related operational services. UNEX EV will be responsible for the adaption of SAIC Hongyan heavy trucks into battery swapping-enabled vehicles, developing of compatible battery modules, as well as promoting the sales of the heavy trucks in Thailand. SAIC Hongyan will supply heavy truck prototypes and provide the necessary technical support to ensure full compatibility between these adapted truck models and U Power's smart battery-swapping stations.
