Fresh Bus Starts A New Route From Hyderabad to Guntur

Fresh Bus, a pioneering sustainable shared mobility firm into e-buses, has announced that it has started a new route – Hyderabad to Guntur via Vijaywada.
The eco-friendly e-bus service is supported by tech-driven sustainability. Responding to the demands of 1.6 lakh passengers, Fresh Bus, with an employee strength of 120, has started the respective route to provide a comfortable and superior travel experience.
Successfully securing INR 235 million investment in two rounds of seeding from investors like Ixigo, Cred's Kunal Shah, Rivigo's Deepak Garg and TVS's Venu Sudharshan, the transport company envisions a fleet size of 170 buses operating across 30 major Tier 2 cities in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Delhi, Jaipur, Punjab, Haryana etc. by 2025. The ambitious plan includes scaling up to 1000 buses across 100 cities in the country by 2027.
Aiming to raise INR 1000 million by March 2025, seeking support from leaders in green mobility to align with its sustainability objectives, the company is projected to generate an impressive revenue of INR 110 million at an Average Run Rate (ARR) of INR 300 million.
Using technology such as track and trace, charger allocation, cameras and more to ensure efficient and safe travel, Fres Bus is anticipating an increase in demand as more and more people take to travel for work and leisure.
It is confident of the people taking to eco-friendly means of travel as they look for comfort and safety as well.

Ashok Leyland Introduces New Truck Range With Air Suspension

Chennai-headquartered commercial vehicle major Ashok Leyland has introduced a new range of trucks equipped with air suspension, which includes three models: the AVTR 4925 10x2 MAV, the AVTR 4625 10x2 MAV and the AVTR 4525 8x2 MAV. These vehicles offer payload advantages of up to 4 tonnes.
The trucks are designed to provide stability, reduce vibrations and improve tyre life. The company says that the suspension system requires no greasing, facilitating maintenance-free operations.
The new air-suspension-equipped truck range is available in cowl and cabin options with various loading spans. Standard features include Intelligent Vehicle Acceleration Control (iVAC) and Automatic Traction Control (ATC) to assist with fuel efficiency and traction.

Force Motors Partners Ministry of Road Transport & Highways For Delhi-NCR Vehicle Scheme

Pune-headquartered Force Motors has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) to participate in the Commercial Vehicle Replacement Scheme for the Delhi-NCR region.
The scheme facilitates the replacement of BS-IV and older trucks and buses in Delhi-NCR with BS-VI or electric vehicles to lower emissions. Under the agreement, Force Motors will provide benefits to customers through its dealership network in the region.

Ashok Leyland Opens New LCV Dealership In Maharashtra

Chennai-headquartered automotive major Ashok Leyland has inaugurated a new dealership for Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) in Ratnagiri. This facility is the 16th LCV dealership in Maharashtra, adding to a distribution network of 950 touchpoints across India.
The new dealership is operated by Lavekar Motors as a 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) facility, which features 8 service bays and is located near Mahanagar CNG Pump.

Stoneridge To Showcase EVO ECU Platform, Innovation Truck At IAA Transportation 2026

US-headquartered electronic systems and technology company for commercial vehicles, buses, coaches, and off-highway equipment, Stoneridge, has announced its participation in IAA Transportation 2026.
The company is set to exhibit the EVO ECU platform, an electronic control unit designed to support the transition to software-defined vehicles (SDVs). The unit provides processing capability and connectivity, intended to manage vehicle complexity while reducing integration efforts and system costs.

The display follows the MirrorEye Camera Monitor System, for which the company has produced over 150,000 units. The demonstrator serves to show the integration of the company's technology portfolio for driver awareness and fleet operations.
