ViewSubscribeThe second edition of Bharat Mobility show in Delhi NCR is set to put the spotlight on not just the automobiles and auto components but a lot other fields that contribute to mobility, including the steel sector, the chemicals industries and even bicycle manufacturers. Held at three venues for automobiles, components, off-highway and other equipment, the Bharat Mobility International Expo 2025 is set to be a premier show that brings much of the manufacturing sector together. The January-February 2025 issue of Motoring Trends looks at what the Bharat Mobility International Expo will offer to a large chunk of the manufacturing sector that proudly calls upon mobility as its area of application. The issue also looks at the diverse developments in the auto industry not just in India but in various parts of the world. It looks at how Volvo Trucks, for example, is charting a growth path through technology, innovation, carbon emission reduction and an ability to address operator as well as end user requirements. There are articles that highlight how technology in automobiles is proving to be the driving force; how testing and validation facilities, and auto components are turning out to be the new mojo as geopolitical challenges pose as headwinds. Various economies around the globe experience stubborn inflation and the auto industry in particular is not immune to rising operating costs among other factors – regulatory in nature and driven by market expectations. There are articles in the issue that focus on these factors among others that are critical as well as close to the roots of the various trends that are visible in the auto industry currently, irrespective of whether it is on this side of the Atlantic Ocean or on the other side.
