Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet Launched At INR 299,000

Bengaluru-based performance electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette has launched its latest offering, the F77 SuperStreet, at an introductory price starting INR 299,000.
The F77 SuperStreet is equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery pack, delivers a peak power output of 30 kW (40.2 hp), 100 Nm of peak torque and can accelerate from zero to 60 kmph in a claimed 2.8 seconds. The e-motorcycle can attain a top spead of 155 kmph and has a claimed IDC range of 323 km.
The F77 SuperStreet features an upright riding posture and comfortable ergonomics, as compared to the F77 Mach 2’s sports styled riding stance.
The e-motorcycle gets 3-level Traction Control System, 10 levels of Regenerative Braking, Dynamic Stability Control (UV DSC), Hill Hold and it is also outfitted with Delta Watch for security.

The F77 SuperStreet can be had in four colour options – Turbo Red, Afterburner Yellow, Stellar White and Cosmic Black. Furthermore, it can be customised with a host of accessories such as Aero Discs, Tank Grips, Lever Guards, TPMS, Puncture Kit, Screen Guard, Top Box, Soft Panniers, Hard Panniers and a Type 2 Charging Interface.
The F77 Superstreet will come in two variants – the F77 SuperStreet and F77 SuperStreet Recon with deliveries commencing in March 2025.

Piaggio Vehicles India Launches 2025 Vespa Portfolio Starting At INR 132,500

Italian scooter brand Vespa, manufactured by Piaggio Vehicles, has launched its updated two-wheeler portfolio for the Indian market. The company recently introduced its all-new MY2025 portfolio of Vespa and Vespa S scooters with prices starting at INR 132,500 and INR 136,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra) respectively.
The scooters can be had in 125cc and 150cc variants and multiple colour options. For tech enthusiasts, the company has introduced the Vespa S with prices starting at INR 192,000 and the Vespa S Tech at INR 196,000 (ex-showroom) respectively. They boast of tech-loaded features such as – key-less ignition, TFT Smart Dash, Bluetooth integration and navigation ability. The company also introduced the special edition ‘Vespa Qala’ in both 125cc and 150cc models, which celebrates artistic approach.

Eicher Motors Restructures Board, Siddhartha Lal Appointed Executive Chairman

New Delhi-headquartered two-wheeler and commercial vehicles major Eicher Motors has announced changes to its Board. The company has announced that S. Sandilya who was the Executive Chairman of the Board is set to retire and will be succeed by Siddhartha Lal.
Furthermore, Vinod Aggarwal has been appointed the Vice Chairman (Non Executive), in addition to his role as the MD and CEO of VE Commercial Vehicles, while B. Govindarajan will become the new Managing Director of Eicher Motors in addition to his role as CEO of Royal Enfield.
Eicher Motors’ Board also appointed Ira Gupta and Arun Vasu as Independent Directors. On the other hand, Manvi Sinha, an Independent Director on Eicher Motors’ board will retire on 12 February 2025 after the completion of her tenure.
“On behalf of the entire Eicher family, I want to extend our deepest gratitude to Sandilya for his outstanding guidance and leadership over the past five decades. From his early roles in the company to serving as Managing Director, Group CEO, and ultimately Chairman for 25 years, he has been instrumental in shaping Eicher Motors into what it is today. Under his leadership, Eicher has navigated challenging times to become one of the leading commercial vehicle players in India and developing markets, while Royal Enfield became a global leader in mid-size motorcycles. We wish him the very best for the future. I would also like to sincerely thank Manvi Sinha for her invaluable contributions to Eicher Motors over the past decade as an Independent Director. At the same time, we welcome Ira Gupta and Arun Vasu to the Eicher Motors Board as well as congratulate Vinod and Govind on their expanded roles,” said Lal.

First Edition Of Royal Enfield Slide School Cup India Concludes

The inaugural edition of Royal Enfield Slide School Cup India came to an exciting end at the Royal Enfield Jaipur Track today. Top riders across the nation competed on specially designed FT 411 Slide School motorcycles during the thrilling tournament, which started at Motoverse 2024 and took place across three months in Goa, Bengaluru, Pune and Jaipur. The championship included seven exciting races over five rounds that were full of action and fierce competition.
A tie of 39 points between Anish Shetty and Sathya Raj Arumugam marked the end of the thrilling final race. Shetty, however, was declared the winner after winning the third race in the final round. Arumugam was adjudged as the first runner-up followed by Karan Drishya, who was the second runner-up with 29 points. An International Flat Track Masterclass led by renowned flat track racer Gary Birtwistle started off the last weekend, providing riders with a chance to study, hone and practise the strategies Birtwistle discussed before to the final battle.
Royal Enfield's Jaipur Track hosted the thrilling climax that took place over the weekend. The track features several areas dedicated to various activities, such as off-road riding, flat track racing and much more. The riders got their first chance to ride at the course when the Slide School Cup final round and regional round in Jaipur were conducted at the Slide Zone.
