ViewSubscribeThere is perhaps no vehicle sold today in India or the world that is not ‘connected’. Likewise, the availability of at least a Level 0, Level 1 or Level 2 ADAS is no longer as exclusive as once was in passenger vehicles and some commercial vehicles. Both these features point at a rise of software-defined vehicles, which are increasingly electronic in nature. The July-August 2025 issue of Motoring Trends looks at these aspects of automobiles that strive to make them less effort some to drive; more comfortable, efficient and durable too. Also in the issue is an in-depth coverage of the second edition of Future Mobility Conference organised by the company that publishes the Motoring Trends magazine. Bringing leaders in the auto industry and stakeholders as well as government officials that are involved in shaping up mobility in India, the conference was made interesting by the topics on safety and sustainability; on technology and future of manufacturing; on chips and digitalisation; on CVs and integrated transport system, and on testing and validation. The Motoring Trends issue also has articles on topics of much deliberation such as rare earth minerals/metals; that Errol Musk said and more.
