Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Platina 110 with a class-leading ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). Priced at INR 65,920/-, the ABS braking technology provides for efficient braking that prevents skidding or loss of control in sudden-braking scenarios. The ABS comes mated to a 240 mm front disc brake- making the newly launched motorcycle a safe bet on the road.
ABS involves an electronic controller that monitors the wheel speed under sudden or extreme braking, and through a feedback loop, releases and reapplies the brakes, faster than any human intervention can manage. In doing so, the system works to prevent ‘locking’ of the wheel, which otherwise may cause loss of control or skidding.
Along with ABS, the Platina comes equipped with a ComforTec package that includes quilted seats, a Nitrox spring-on-spring suspension as well as tubeless tyres to offer unparalleled comfort on the road.
Powering the Platina is a 115cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that produces 8.6 PS at 7,000 RPM and 9.81 Nm of torque at 5,000 RPM. The commuter motorcycle gets new mirrors for improved visibility as well as hand-guards to offer extra protection while riding on varied surfaces.
The new Platina 110 ABS also carries over useful features such as 20 per cent longer front & rear Nitrox suspension that offers fewer jerks in potholes, long quilted seats that provide comfort for rider and pillion, LED Headlamp with integrated DRL that provides clear visibility and adds style and an ABS-indicating analogue speedometer
The two-wheeler will be available in colours – charcoal black, volcanic red & beach blue and is available across all Bajaj Auto dealerships in India.
The Platina 110 ABS follows the recent launch of the smaller capacity Platina 100, priced at around Rs. 10,000/- cheaper than its elder sibling.
Commenting on the launch, Sarang Kanade, President – Domestic Motorcycles Business Unit, Bajaj Auto Ltd said, “The new Platina 110 ABS offers unmatched safety by offering riders complete control over unforeseen braking scenarios. We hope that millions of Indians who ride across varying terrains & roads of the country would take cognizance of the need to keep themselves & their loved ones safe and upgrade to the best-in-segment braking technology. The brand Platina has an unmatched proposition of Comfort with over 7 million satisfied customers as a testament to its segment-leading attributes and now with the addition of ABS, it remains a generation ahead of its competitors.” (MT)
- Priced at INR 65,926 (ex-showroom Delhi), this is the only bike in its segment to offer ABS braking technology

Yulu, an Indian shared electric mobility platform, has announced that over 12,000 women home service professionals across 12 cities have utilised its platform to facilitate their work.
By providing accessible, low-cost electric vehicles (EVs), Yulu is actively dismantling mobility barriers that often prevent women from entering or thriving in the gig economy.
The platform supports women working as home cleaners, meal preppers and laundry professionals in the fast-growing online home services sector. Yulu’s lightweight, speed-capped EVs – which do not require a driver’s license – have allowed these professionals to complete 25–30 percent more assignments daily.
The all-inclusive rental model, which covers battery swapping and maintenance, significantly lowers the barrier to entry for women who previously lacked reliable personal transport.
Beyond the 12,000 women in home services, Yulu says it has empowered over 550,000 gig workers and delivery partners nationwide, many of whom have seen their incomes rise by 30–40 percent compared to using traditional petrol bikes.
The integration of Yulu’s mobility solutions comes at a pivotal time for India's service economy. According to Redseer Strategy Consultants, India's online home services market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 18–22 percent, reaching nearly USD 1 billion by FY2030.
At present over 35,000 women professionals are providing on-demand home services across platforms such as Urban Company, Snabbit and Pronto to name a few.
Amit Gupta, Co-Founder & CEO, Yulu, said, "Access to a vehicle often spells the difference between being dependent on her family and having an additional income stream that unlocks independence and dignity."
