Bajaj Dominar 250 Dual Tone Edition Launched In 3 New Colours
- by MT Bureau
- August 06, 2021

Bajaj Auto has launched the Dominar 250 Dual Tone Edition in three new colours at a starting price of INR 154,176.
The Dominar 250 was launched in March 2020 to tap into the quarter-litre segment in India, which, at the time, was sparsely serviced by other brands. Since its launch, the Dominar series, comprising the Dominar 400 and the Dominar 250, has proved to be an excellent option for entry-level touring motorcycles with a road-proven history of performance and comfort.
The new edition is available in Racing Red + Matt Silver, Citrus Rush + Matt Silver and Sparkling Black + Matt Silver dual-tone colour options. Mechanically, the Dominar 250 remains unchanged with the same refined yet powerful, liquid-cooled 248.8 cc, fuel-injected engine, delivering 27 PS power and 23.5 Nm of torque.
The upside-down (USD) forks, borrowed from the Dominar 400, along with most other ride-defining components (handlebar, rear mono-shock and seat) provide great handling and comfort along with a muscular look. The twin-barrel exhaust, also borrowed from the higher cc Dominar, produces a throaty exhaust note with heavy bass, enhancing the sports tourer feel.
It also features practical bungee straps tucked under the pillion seat to help secure the gear during long-distance touring, a redesigned secondary display showing time and trip information and spacecraft-inspired tank pad decals.
Narayan Sundararaman, Head of Marketing, Bajaj Auto Limited, said, “We are proud to build the Sports Touring segment in India with a motorcycle that is ‘Born To Sprint and Built To Tour’. We have recently achieved the historic milestone of 100,000 Dominars touring across the world, which reaffirms our mission of redefining long-distance touring. We realise that biking for youngsters can be so much more than just street fun if the bike comes with the right dose of performance, sharp and purposive design, and a superior riding experience. We believe that this Dual Tone Edition will attract young, dynamic and experience-seeking enthusiasts.” (MT)
