KTM Launches Updated 390 Adventure X and Global-Spec Enduro R in India

Bajaj Auto-owned Austrian two-wheeler specialist KTM has introduced two new models to the Indian market – the upgraded KTM 390 Adventure X and the global-spec KTM 390 Adventure Enduro R priced at INR 303,125 and INR 353,825, respectively.
The KTM 390 Adventure X, previously a successful entry point for long-distance and off-road touring enthusiasts, now gets advanced electronic features typically found in KTM's flagship models. Key upgrades include standard cruise control with both Cruise and Speed Limiter modes, multiple ride modes (Street, Rain, and Off-road) to adapt to varying road conditions, Cornering ABS (CABS) for enhanced safety during cornering, and Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) for improved stability across different terrains.
The global-spec KTM 390 Adventure Enduro R is aimed at serious off-road riders seeking Dakar-honed performance. It features new suspension details to further enhance its capability for challenging trails and tough terrain.
The KTM 390 Adventure Enduro R is powered by a liquid-cooled, 398.63cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder DOHC engine delivering a maximum horsepower of 46 PS (33.8 kW) at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of 39 Nm at 6500 rpm. It features an electronic throttle body, an electric starter and a wet, A&S multi-plate clutch, coupled with a constant mesh, 6-speed transmission. The fuel system is petrol-based with a 9-litre metal tank.
In terms of dimensions, the bike has an overall length of 2236mm, a width of 809mm, and a height of 1236mm. The wheelbase is 1477mm (+/−10mm) and boasts a ground clearance of 277mm with a seat height of 895mm. Suspension includes an adjustable 43mm inverted telescopic fork at the front with 230mm travel, and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear also with 230mm travel. Braking is handled by floating callipers with a 285mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS. The electrical system comprises a 12V 8 AH battery, LED headlamps, tail lamps and side indicators, along with a minimal TFT dashboard. It also includes Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) and a quick shifter.
KTM has expanded its presence significantly in India since 2012, now boasting over 450 stores and a customer base of nearly half a million, making India KTM's largest global market.
TVS Motor Company Partners Manba Finance For Commercial Vehicle Financing

TVS Motor Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Manba Finance to provide retail financing for its commercial mobility range. The agreement aims to improve vehicle affordability for customers across India.
As part of the understanding, Manba Finance will offer monthly instalment plans for the full range of TVS commercial vehicles, including passenger and cargo three-wheelers. The partnership covers both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) models.
The collaboration is intended to expand TVS's presence in rural and semi-urban markets by reducing turnaround times for credit approvals. Provide low down payment options and reduced monthly outflows. Assisting last-mile entrepreneurs and fleet operators in vehicle acquisition.

TVS Motor Company Announces PETRONAS TVS India One Make Championship 2026

TVS Motor Company has announced the training and selection schedule for the PETRONAS TVS India One Make Championship (OMC) 2026. The selection trials are scheduled to take place between 17 January and 7 February 2026 in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi and Kolkata, with the final rounds held at the Madras International Circuit (MIC) in Chennai.
The 2026 season marks 20 years of the TVS Apache brand. The programme is designed to train riders through structured track learning and safety protocols.
The programme is divided into categories based on age and experience:
Regional Selection Trials (Saturdays):
- 17 Jan: Bengaluru (Aruani Grid)
- 24 Jan: Pune (Pune Kartdrome)
- 31 Jan: Delhi (Formula Karting, Noida)
- 07 Feb: Kolkata (Eco Park)
Final Selection (Chennai, May 2026):
- 15 May: Young Media Training
- 16 May: Women’s Training
- 17 May: Rookie & RR310 Selection
Eligibility Requirements:
- Women’s Category: Under 40 years of age.
- Rookie Category: 15 to 21 years of age with FMSCI Level 1 certification.
- RR310 Category: Under 30 years of age with a podium finish in national or one-make championships.
Participants compete on race-tuned motorcycles, including the TVS Apache RTR 200 and the RR 310. Safety equipment provided includes Alpinestars airbag jackets, FIM-certified helmets, and racing suits.
The championship includes the TVS Women’s OMC, which has trained over 500 riders since 2016, and the TVS Rookie OMC, an entry-level platform for young racers.

Ducati Launches XDiavel V4 At INR 3.08 Million In India

Ducati India has announced the launch of the XDiavel V4, a cruiser featuring the V4 Granturismo engine at prices starting INR 30,88,700 (ex-showroom India) and is available in two metallic colours: Burning Red and Black Lava.
The motorcycle weighs 229 kg, a reduction of 6 kg compared to its predecessor, the XDiavel 1260 S. It utilises a single-sided aluminium swingarm and five-spoke alloy wheels fitted with a 240/45 rear tyre.
The XDiavel V4 is powered by a 1,158cc engine derived from the Panigale V4. The powertrain includes an extended cylinder deactivation system that switches off the rear cylinder bank during low engine loads to manage fuel consumption and heat.
The motorcycle produces 168 hp with 12.8 kgm of torque at 7,500 rpm. A claimed zero to 100 kmph in under three seconds. The XDiavel V4 is equipped with 330 mm disc brake from Brembo Stylema calipers.
It comes with a 6.9-inch TFT colour dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity and Turn-by-turn navigation support. The electronics package includes four riding modes: Sport, Touring, Urban and Wet. The motorcycles also getss Cornering Traction Control and Wheelie Control, ABS Cornering & Launch Control. Ducati Quick Shift (up/down) and Cruise Control.
The ergonomics have been revised with a 770 mm seat height and handlebars moved back to facilitate manoeuvring. For passengers, the seat dimensions have been increased in width and length.

Bajaj Auto Intros Updated Pulsar 150 Range At INR 108,772

Bajaj Auto, one of the leading two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturers, has updated its popular Pulsar 150 motorcycle range. The updates include the introduction of LED headlamps and LED blinkers to the model, which the company states is intended to improve visibility and usability while maintaining the vehicle's design identity.
The updated range is available at the following ex-showroom Delhi prices – Pulsar 150 SD at INR 108,772, Pulsar 150 SD UG at INR 111,669 and Pulsar 150 TD UG at INR 115,481.
The motorcycle retains its frame and stance, though Bajaj has introduced new colour options and graphics. The Pulsar 150 continues to utilise DTS-i (Digital Twin Spark-ignition) technology, which uses two spark plugs to ignite the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber, intended to improve combustion efficiency and power output.
The update focuses on integrating modern lighting components into the existing platform, which originally established the sports motorcycling segment in India.
