Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, has launched the Suzuki Access 125, Suzuki Burgman Street in Special festive colours and also launched the sporty 2024 Suzuki Avenis scooter in new four colour combinations.

The company has introduced a new dual-tone colour combination of Metallic Sonoma Red / Pearl Mirage White for its flagship scooter Access 125 and the new Metallic Matte Black No.2 colour for Suzuki Burgman Street. This will be in addition to the existing colour range available on the scooters.

The 2024 Suzuki Avenis scooter is now available in four colour options – Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Mira Red, Champion Yellow No 2 / Glossy Sparkle Black, Glossy Sparkle Black & Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White. Each colour option is complemented by all new bold and futuristic edgy graphics and motorcycle inspired highlights.

The Access 125 and Burgman Street have been appreciated by our customers for their performance, comfort, and style. The Suzuki Access 125 comes with an all-aluminium 4-stroke, single cylinder 124cc BSVI OBD2 compliant engine, which produces 8.7 PS @ 6,750rpm and 10Nm torque @ 5,500rpm.

It is equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled multi-function digital console with Suzuki Ride Connect, compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones, which provides information like turn-by-turn navigation, ETA updates, call, SMS, and WhatsApp alerts, and even displays the last parked location. 

The Suzuki Access 125 continues to provide a decent 21.8-litre of under-seat storage face, that can easily accommodate a full-face helmet and other essentials. Additionally, it includes a convenient front pocket with a USB socket for mobile charging.

Other notable features include a larger 12-inch front tyre for better performance on rough and uneven roads, front disc brake with a Combined Brake System (CBS), and a telescopic suspension for a smoother ride.

The special Metallic Matte Black No.2 festive colour of Suzuki Burgman Street flaunts a cutting-edge luxury design following Suzuki European style providing the scooter a premium look. 

The Suzuki Burgman Street too features an all-aluminium 4-stroke, single cylinder 124cc BSVI OBD2 compliant engine delivering 8.7 PS @ 6,500rpm, 10Nm torque @ 5,500rpm. It also gets the first-in-class a body-mounted windscreen as standard. Like Access 125, it has a Bluetooth enabled multi-function digital instrument cluster, with Suzuki Ride Connect.

It also gets new Dual Convenient Utility Hooks and large 21.5L under-seat storage provide ample space for luggage and helmets. Additional conveniences include a Front Glove Box with USB Socket, a front pocket, and a One Push Central Locking and Unique safety shutter.

    Ultraviolette Automotive Collaborates With Indian Army For 5-Day Rally Across Tamil Nadu

    Bengaluru-based electric vehicle company Ultraviolette Automotive collaborated with the Madras Regiment Centre (MRC) of the Indian Army for a five-day rally across Tamil Nadu, by providing a fleet of F77 motorcycles.

    The ride honoured the army Veterans and Veer Naris of Madras Regiment and the Armed Forces community in the region.

    Under the aegis of the Dakshin Bharat Area, the rally covered six districts of Tamil Nadu - Tirupur, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Theni and Coimbatore. The team of army personnel engaged with approximately 3,000 veterans and veer naris during the journey: addressing various concerns, sharing crucial information on entitlements, and providing immediate assistance. The F77s covered a cumulative distance of over 6000 kilometres.

      Suzuki Motorcycle India Sales Grow 8% In April 2025

      Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL), a leading manufacturer of two-wheelers in the country, has reported wholesales of 112,948 units for April 2025, which is 14 percent higher than 99,377 units it sold last year.

      The company reported an 8 percent growth in its domestic sales at 95,214 units, as compared to 88,067 units last year, while exports grew by 57 percent at 17,734 units, as against 11,310 units for the same period last year.

      Deepak Mutreja, Vice-President – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said, “This positive start to the year fills us with gratitude. Each unit sold represents the beginning of a new journey with our customers and we are thankful to be a part of it. We will continue to work sincerely to meet the evolving expectations of our customers and contribute positively to their journey with us.”

      Last month, the company further upgraded its product lineup, including the Hayabusa to be OBD-2B compliant.

        TVS Motor Co Sells 443,896 Vehicles In April 2025

        Chennai-based two-wheeler and three-wheeler maker TVS Motor Company has announced its wholesales for April 2025. The company reported witnessing a 16 percent growth, selling 443,896 units, as against 383,615 units last year. 

        The domestic two-wheeler sales include 220,527 motorcycles and 169,741, while exports accounted for 106,683 units.  

        EV sales grew by 59 percent, rising from 17,403 units in April 2024 to 27,684 units last month.

        Three-wheeler sales grew by 50 percent YoY from 9,023 units to 13,566 units.
