TVS Motor Co Sells 443,896 Vehicles In April 2025

Chennai-based two-wheeler and three-wheeler maker TVS Motor Company has announced its wholesales for April 2025. The company reported witnessing a 16 percent growth, selling 443,896 units, as against 383,615 units last year. 

The domestic two-wheeler sales include 220,527 motorcycles and 169,741, while exports accounted for 106,683 units.  

EV sales grew by 59 percent, rising from 17,403 units in April 2024 to 27,684 units last month.

Three-wheeler sales grew by 50 percent YoY from 9,023 units to 13,566 units.

Royal Enfield Reports Sales Of 121,326 Motorcycles In September 2026

Chennai-headquartered mid-sized motorcycle maker Royal Enfield has reported its wholesales of 133,958 units in September 2026, representing an 8 percent YoY growth, compared to 124,328 units sold last year.

In the domestic market, sales grew 7 percent YoY to 121,326 units from 113,573 units last year. Exports grew 17 percent to 12,632 units compared to 10,755 units a year ago.

Furthermore, being recognized as the winner in the Two-Wheeler OEM category at the FADA Dealer Satisfaction Survey 2026 for the second consecutive year is a true testament to the strength of our partner ecosystem. With positive customer sentiment and a strong booking pipeline across our networks, we are scaling up production, inventory and channel readiness to cater to the festive season."

The company introduced the Himalayan 440 in Sela Black, Mustang Brown and Nelong White, equipped with a 443cc engine and a six-speed gearbox. For European markets, Royal Enfield launched its electric motorcycle line, the Flying Flea C6, establishing retail points and service infrastructure across Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin and London, with deliveries scheduled for October 2026.

Royal Enfield also updated the Classic 350 with a Signature White variant featuring an assist and slipper clutch, adjustable levers, USB Type-C charging and navigation hardware as standard equipment.

In international markets, the company launched the Guerrilla 450 Apex and Goan Classic 350 in the Philippines, while introducing the Bullet 650 and Guerrilla Apex 450 in Cambodia.

Bajaj Auto Sells 430,853 Two-Wheelers In September 2026

Pune-headquartered two-wheeler and three-wheeler major Bajaj Auto recorded total wholesales of 538,443 units in September 2026, representing a 5 percent increase compared to 510,504 units sold last year.

The company sold a total of 294,456 units in the domestic market, down 9 percent YoY, while total exports rose 32 percent YoY to 243,987 units.

Two-wheeler sales for September 2026, reached 451,494 units, reflecting a 5 percent YoY as against 430,853 units last year. In the domestic market sales declined 12 percent to 239,771 units, down from 273,188 units a year ago.

On the other hand exports grew 34 percent to 211,723 units compared to 157,665 units in September 2025.

Three-wheeler sales witnessed growth across both domestic and international markets. Total wholesales rose 9 percent to 86,949 units from 79,651 units last year. In the domestic market 5 percent to 54,685 units, while exports grew 17 per cent to 32,264 units.

India Yamaha Motor - Chennai

Japanese two-wheeler company India Yamaha Motor hosted MotoGP riders Fabio Quartararo, Alex Rins and Jack Miller, alongside Team Principal Paolo Pavesio, for a series of events in Chennai involving customers, employees and research personnel.

The riders visited the Madras International Circuit to meet 100 Yamaha customers and owners of the newly launched YZF-R2 model for an interaction covering riding techniques and motorcycle technology. During the event, the riders operated the YZF-R2 on the track to evaluate the vehicle's handling and track performance.

The delegation also conducted a tour of Yamaha's manufacturing plant and research and development centre in Chennai, observing assembly operations for the YZF-R2. The visit included discussions with engineering teams and assembly line staff regarding production standards and performance engineering.

TVS MotoSoul

Chennai-headquartered two-wheeler and three-wheeler major TVS Motor Company has announced the sixth edition of its motorcycling festival, TVS MotoSoul 6.0, scheduled to take place on 11 and 12 December 2026 in Goa.

The event serves as an annual venue for the company to present new models, custom vehicle builds, merchandise, riding gear and brand partnerships. The previous editions of the festival saw the introduction of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V with dual-channel ABS in 2023, the TVS RT-XD4 300 performance engine platform in 2024 and the TVS Ronin Agonda Edition in 2025.

The platform has also hosted custom motorcycle builds created in collaboration with international designers, using models such as the TVS Apache RTR 310, TVS Apache RR 310 and TVS Ronin. Commercial partnerships unveiled at past events include apparel and safety equipment collaborations with Alpinestars, GIVI, PETRONAS and MT Helmets, alongside technology displays such as the Aegis Rider Vision AR HUD Helmet.
